Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust prides itself on having the highest standards of clinical excellence. Frimley Park Hospital was the first hospital in the country to receive the ‘outstanding’ rating in 2014. Our Heatherwood and Wexham Park hospitals are both rated ‘good’ and with funds already committed to redevelopment and improvement projects, ‘outstanding’ ratings across the Trust are our aim.
We know how important it is to feel that you are continuing to grow and develop your skills as a doctor. That’s why we strive to ensure that our junior doctors enjoy rotations that are challenging and rewarding.
We are proud to host medics from the Defence Medical Group South East (DMGSE) at our Frimley Park Hospital site, where our NHS doctors have been working in partnership with military surgical, medical and nursing personnel to care for our local community for over 20 years. The Trust has signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant and has been recognised with a silver award through the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
Our doctors enjoy attractive renumeration packages and all the lifestyle benefits that come from living and working in this desirable part of the country. Our catchment area offers excellent transport links to London and the south east’s coastline, while the semi-rural environment provides plenty of opportunities to escape to the countryside. Add to that the high levels of employment, good schools and generally prosperous communities, and you’ve got the answer to why our area consistently scores among the top places to live in the annual Halifax Quality of Life Survey.
